SNEAK PEAK!!

I hope your August has started out great.  This will definitely make it even better!  We are working everyday to prepare for the girls coming our way for our FIRST GIrls That S.P.A.R.K. retreat coming up next month!  I am getting daily shipments of items for the girls. 

ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!!! 

Since you are family and everything we do is possible because of your support, I wanted to share a few items with you as we prepare the gifts for the girls. 

But before we get to that ,let me do a quick reminder on the focus of the program. 

The Girls That S.P.A.R.K program:

  •   is for African American girls aged 13-17 

  •   is based on 5 key principles - Self, Purpose, Action, Responsibility, Knowledge 

  •   kick off session will be a day and a half , Sept 9-10 and will include interactive activities for each principles

  •   will include one group community service project

  •   will also include at least one exposure event such as plays, museum trips, etc. 

  •   will also include special access to virtual events, sessions and mentoring check ins

Please share this email and form with anyone you know that has a daughter, niece, sister or cousin that is around 13-17 yrs old and could benefit from this program. Share also with anyone you know in the school system- teachers, principals, guidance counselors, etc.  If they have additional questions, feel free to send them my way via email-team202@202love.org

Below are pics of a few things we have so far. Once we get everything, I will share that with you. Can't wait until you see the final completed SPARK BOX that each participant will receive.
