Where do I begin? THANK YOU feels like the best start.

Why am I thanking you? Great question.

Because of you, we had a successful kickoff of the Fall 22 group of Girls That S.P.A.R.K. 

They had a great time at their kickoff. Although this was their first time meeting, they bonded quickly. They were an engaged and fun group.

On Friday, they enjoyed learning more about 202Love and the meaning and focus of the Girls That S.P.A.R.K. program. They also played games that helped them learn more about each other. 

 On Saturday, they had speakers talk to them about using meditation and breathing to handle anxiety and pressure. They learned how to find scholarships and learned about key websites, timing and great resources.  They  also covered each of the pillars of the program- Self, Purpose, Action, Responsibility and Knowledge. 

This weekend, we will meet up with the girls for a lunch outing as a way for them to continue to connect with each other and a great mentoring check in opportunity.  We will meet with them at least twice a month covering various topics such as time management, financial literacy, career day along with their community service and exposure event.  

We have the privilege of mentoring this group until  Feb 2023. I can't wait to see how they grow together and individually! After them, we'll start all over with another group and this current group will help lead the next!
