The foundation to 202!!

I love this picture of them in their younger days. Little did they know, they would soon be creating a life that would produce a family that would one day lead to an organization created in their honor. I would love to hear what they would have to say about it now.

Knowing what I know now, they were a pretty cool combo. Mama Lessie talked to everybody. Papa laid back in the cut and let her do her thing. She was friendly, sometimes serious. He was quiet to some, always funny with a joke ready at all times and was a big ole ball of love. I could get anything out of Papa. Never really tried Mama Lessie. It wasn't that easy!

Together, they created a home that I never wanted to leave. The home where I was always seen, heard and loved. They made 202 what it was and for that I will forever be grateful. That is the feeling that I want every kid to have when they interact with 202Love. That feeling is what we will ensure they feel because I personally know that that feeling can be a true game changer!
